He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Gaydos, Jr. and Carmie Grassi Gaydos; his wife Ellen Phillips; his children, Roger Jr. (Louise Hall) of Canonsburg, Susan King (Kristopher) of Bellevue, Michael P (Tris Ann) of Upper St, John W. of Canonsburg, Matthew P. of Los Angles, Catherine E. McCarthy (Brendan) of Bethel Park and Mark D. (Rachel) of Robinson Twp; his grandchildren, Micha S. "Chief" Gaydos of Eleanorah, Hannah, Margaret "Magnet" McCarthy and Anastasia "Peanut Bar" Gaydos; and his siblings, Charlotte Light (Jay), Deborah Keller, Jonathan Gaydos (Lori), Laurence Gaydos (Richard) and Heather Gaydos. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
