He was predeceased by: his parents, James Spirik and Margaret Spirik (Byers); his wife Janet L. Spirik (Herman); and his siblings, James Spirik, Rose Lee and Stephen Spirik.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Modrak (Gary) of Cranberry, Jennifer Spirik (Charles Daniels) of Michigan, Joseph Spirik Jr. (Janet) of Cecil and James Spirik (Candy) of Cecil; his grandchildren, Charlene, Dustin, Shane, Heather, Kassandra Spirik and James Spirik Jr.; and his brothers, Charles Spirik and David Spirik (Peggy). He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
