She was predeceased by: her parents, Emerson Slates and Clara Henwood Slates. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda L Bongiorni (David) of Hermitage and Catherine A. Bierer (Scott) of Delmont; her brother Charles "Chuck" Slates (late Blanche); her grandchildren, Christopher Bongiorni (Tami), Jaime Catalogna (Richard), Corey Bierer (Emily), Jesse Bierer (Sarah) and Jason Thompson; her great grandchildren, Brianna, Gabrielle Catalogna, Ava and Andrew Bongiorni; and her siblings, George Slates, Evelyn Bohey, Florence Courtney and Geraldine McKee.
