He was predeceased by: his parents, Verena Schneider and Gilbert Schneider; his child Casey Hill; his sister Theresa; and his sister-in-law Maureen.
He is survived by: his spouse Kay Schneider; his son Josh Schneider (Tara); his grandchildren, Lila, Samuel, Nora Schneider and Emma Hill; his siblings, Richard, Judy (James), Michael (Stephanie), Daniel (Peggy), Lynn (Chuck) and Steven (Susan); his mother-in-law Sally Flinn; and his siblings-in-law, Helenann (Guy), Bernie (Darlene), Patti (Danny) and Eileen (Michael). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests friends and family to pay it forward with a random act of kindness.
