Slates; her children, David Slates (Denise) of Hickory, Lori Vance (Walter) of Coraopolis and Michael Slates (Anne) of McDonald; her sisters, Emmalu McIlwain of Andover, OH and Roberta Gorring of Erie; her grandchildren, Meagan and Kelly Slates; and her siblings, James, Jack, William Riker and Ruth Giorando. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
