He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Gresty and Edna Tobin Gresty; and his siblings, Barbara Wehrle, Joan Harris and Clive Gresty.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Gresty of McConnellsburg, PA; his children, Janet Anne Herbert (Kevin) of Ocean Pines, MD, Susan Lynn Gresty (Rachael) of Shippensburg, PA and Robert Douglas Gresty (Karina) of Austin, TX; and his brother Keith Gresty of Manchester, Eng.. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandson and 4 nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home (322 N 2nd St, Mcconnellsburg, PA 17233). A Mass was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Stephen Catholic Church (303 Lincoln Way W, Mcconnellsburg, PA 17233). A graveside service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 9:30 AM and at 10:00 AM at the Grandview Cemetery (801 Millcreek Rd, Johnstown, PA 15905).
In lieu flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Stephen Catholic Church, the FCMC Foundation or the charity of one's choice.
