He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Mellott and Louella Hann Mellott; and his siblings, Jim Mellott, Lee Mellott, Frank Mellott, Chalmer Mellott, Goldie Henry and Esta Pittman.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Mellott of McConnellsburg, PA; his children, Greg Mellott (Wendy) of McConnellsburg, PA, Sheila Bivens (Randy) of McConnellsburg, PA and Lisa McConahy (Sid) of McConnellsburg, PA; his grandson Zachary (Miranda Sherman); his children, Sierra (Wayne Crider), Gage (Morgan Mellott), Ryker Crider, Jackson Sherman, Rippley Crider, Alyssa (Travis Randolph), Braedyn Randolph and Jaeda Randolph; and his siblings, Preston Mellott and Dolly Keith. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Stanely's memory to the McConnellsburg Volunteer Fire Company, 112 E. Maple Street, McConnellsburg, PA 17233.
