He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell W. Shives and Margaret J. Mongold of McConnellsburg; and his great grandchild Baby Gordon. He is survived by: his wife Connie E. Shives (Hoffman); his children, David R. Shives, Rita F. Gordon (Shives) and Anita K. Shives; his grandchildren, Aaron R. Shives, Garrett R. Gordon, Kellina N. Faith (Shives) and Justin L. Gordon; his great grandchildren, Bentley, Raelyn, Jaxon, Remedie, Carter, Jace and Jaylee; his brother Frederick J. Shives (Big Cove Tannery); and his pet Princess. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
