He was predeceased by: his parents, Violet C. Barnhart (Deshong) and Clarence I. Barnhart. He is survived by: his wife Helen Barnhart (Barthalow); his children, Helen Straley (Randy) of Hedgesville, WV and Joseph Souders (Allen Roser) of York, PA; his sister Mary Rohm (Barnhart); and his children, Zella Shields (Souders), Earl Souders and Timmy Souders. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
