He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Skiles (Sipes) and Frank Mayer Skiles; his son Michael Skiles; his brother Frank Skiles; and his grandson Dalton Skiles.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia M. Skiles (Rhodes); his pet Taco; his children, Keefer of McConnellsburg, PA, Robert J. Skiles, Jr. (Robin Dawley) of McConnellsburg, PA and Tony D.; his stepchildren, Larry, Mike, Gantt of St. Thomas, PA and Wanda Cane of Georgia; and his siblings, Dwight, Fred Skiles of McConnellsburg, PA and Alice Kahn of Harrisonville, PA. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren and eleven step-great grandchildren.
