With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred E. Gelvin of McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 1, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth E. Truax (Seville) and Charles E. Truax; her husband Edwin C. "Eddie" Gelvin, Sr.; her son Edwin Eddie Gelvin, Jr.; and her siblings, Marie Pittman, Alma Hook, Janet Barnett, Charles Truax, Jr., John N. Truax, Sr., Gary Truax and Herbert Lee Truax.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy, Ricky C. Gelvin of Waterfall, PA, Mike and Boyd W. Gelvin, Sr. of Three Springs, PA; and her siblings, Shirley, Richard "Dick" and Steve "Gup" Truax of Hustontown, PA. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
