She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelma R. Morton (Mellott) and Walter R. Morton; and her former husband Sam Mellott. She is survived by: her daughters, Yvonne T. Griest of McConnellsburg, PA and Joan M. Ford of Breezewood, PA.; her grandchildren, Laurel M. Griest, James F. Griest, Brian Strait and Christopher Ford; and her great grandchildren, Ian M. Hampton, Nathan M. Hampton, Jaylyn Strait and Cheyenne Strait.
