He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his sons, John Joseph McGraw IV (Ruthie) of Arlington, TX and Matt Shugart McGraw (Lauren) of New Market, MD.; his grandchildren, Macie Lee, Joseph Udensi, Charly Grace, Avery Jean and Harper Rae; and his siblings, Walter McGraw of Bealton, VA, Kate Wildman of Annandale, VA and June McGraw Frye of Fredericksburg, VA..
