It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet L. Mellott of McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 23, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald "Bucky" R. Truax and Emma Truax (Helman); her spouse Claude "Crow" R. Mellott; her son Claude R. Mellott; and her siblings, Maxine DeShong and Donald Ray Truax Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa A. Johnston (Paul) of McConnellsburg, PA.. She is also survived by three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
