He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Souders (Seville) and Frank Souders; his wife Joyce A. Souders; his former wife Jean A. Souders; his daughter Lori Reams; his grandchildren, Trevor Souders and Kendra Souders; and his siblings, Grant, Jess, John, Rod Souders, Beverly Feagley and Cindy Starr.

He is survived by: his sons, Eric D. and Kelly S.; and his sisters, Yvonne "Sis" McQuade of McConnellsburg, PA, Judy Speer of McConnellsburg, PA and Deb Souders of McConnellsburg, PA.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, funeral services will be private with Pastor Lyle Mellott officiating.
