He was predeceased by: his parents, Olla McClain (Barnett) and Marshall McClain; his stepmother Ella McClain; his siblings, Earl McClain, Brinton McClain and Esther McClain Hoy; and his stepbrothers, George and Ray Shughart.
He is survived by: his uncle Jesse; his aunt Verna McClain; his wife Betty J. McClain (Brown); his son Bradley K.; his siblings, Blair and Phyllis McClain Thumma; his grandchildren, Danielle, Alex and Lucas McClain of McConnellsburg, PA; and his great grandchildren, Kasen and Emberly DeShong.
