She was predeceased by: her parents, Nina Bivens (Bain) and Frank D. Bivens; her husband Donald R. Kinzie; her siblings, Catherine "Kate" Jane Ott, Martha Seville and Harold "Shorty" Bivens; and her stepson Eric Kinzie.
She is survived by: her children, David and Susan K.; and her stepchildren, Michael, Thomas Kinzie of New Port News, VA, Yvonne and Teresa. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.
