He was predeceased by: his daughter Cindy L. Kline. He is survived by: his parents, James J. and Charlette E. Bay (Wolfkill); his wife Joan O. Bay (Reigle); his son Steve Bay (Terri) of Alaska; and his grandchildren, Kevin, Curtis and Miranda.
