She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles A. Hockensmith and Ethel LeQuea; her sister Lorraine G. Harpster; and her half-brother William Hockensmith. She is survived by: her husband William T. Mellott of McClure; her sister Peggy Jean McCartney of Burnham; her half-brothers, Charles A. Hockensmith Jr. (Susan) of Hanover, John T. Hockensmith (Jeannie) of New Oxford and Harold Hockensmith (Terry) of Hanover; her nieces, Holly Ellers (Rich) of Centre Hall, Jill Knepp (Neil) of Reedsville, Carolyn Gregg (Gary) of Shippensburg and Kitty Walters (Wade) of Burnham; her nephew Michael McCartney (Kathy) of Burnham; and her friend Neita Knepp of McClure.
