She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Garred and Margarie Geekie Garred; and her husband Eugene R. Karem. She is survived by: her sons, Jack (Wendy Karem), Chris (Raquel Karem) and Geno (Christa Karem); her grandchildren, Cody Bart, Alexus Karem and Briana Karem; her siblings, Betsy (Joe Sibal), Kathy (Ed Verbus), Greg (Linda Garred), Gene (Dawn Garred), Susan (George Kostelnik), Connie (Alan Early), Paddy (Jamie Cossick), Mary Ellen (Tom Nalevanko), Christine (Bob Phelan), Michael (Vicky Garred), Laura Myers and Sally (John Masterbray); and her brother-in-law Ed (Lisa Karem).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home (603 N Gallatin Ave Ext, Uniontown, PA 15401). A burial was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mount St. Macrina Cemetery (500 W Main St, Uniontown, PA 15401).
