He is survived by: his wife Leah Fowler Durst; his daughters, Phyllis Durst of Smithfield, Sharon Wesolowsky (James) of McClellandtown and Nadine Durst of Masontown; his grandchildren, Drew Dirda, Jessica Wesolowsky and Madalyn Dirda; his son-in-law Andrew Dirda, III; his brother Gene Durst (Linda); his stepbrother William Schradel (Debbie); and his siblings-in-law, Eleanor Durst, Joy Durst, Jolene Durst and Paul Metts. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
