She is survived by: her husband George Shimek; her children, Daniel Shimek (Kimberly), Danielle Guthrie (John) and David Shimek, Sr.; her grandchildren, Austin Wagner, Hannah Guthrie, Savannah Guthrie and David Shimek, Jr.; her great grandchild Ava Christine Escalante; and her brother Drew Cubic. She is also survived by cousins and nephews.
