He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harvey S. Lauver and Ruth C. Lauver (Kanode); his wife Esther M. Lauver (Zook); his children, Dwight D. Lauver (Erica) of Middleburg, Terry L. Lauver (Deborah) of Hummelstown, Crystal A. Lauver of Mifflintown, Jeffrey S. Lauver (Debra) of Carlisle and Deron L. Lauver of Mifflintown; his siblings, Lois Myers, Esther Davis, Laban Lauver, George Lauver and Alma Shelly; his grandson Kyle Knepp; and his siblings, Samuel Lauver, Charles Lauver, James, Clair, Boyd, Ray Lauver and Dorcas Brandt. He was also cherished by fourteen grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
