It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lorene D. Horning of McAlisterville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 14, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emory E. Varner and Dora L. Varner (Snyder); her husband Donald M. Horning; her son Troy D. Horning; and her close friend Joel Kunkel.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tammy L. Casey (Michael) of Millerstown and Tiffany A. Renninger (J. Michael) of Mifflintown; her daughter-in-law Angela Horning of Richfield; and her grandchildren, Amisha Boone (Daniel), Brandon Boone (Aleesha), Devin Renninger (Haley) and Maxwell Young (Sarah). She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc. (111 W Fall St, McAlisterville, PA 17049). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at the Richfield Union Cemetery.
