He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn O. Long and May Long (Gearhart); and his sister Jo-Anne Sellers. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn J. "Cassie" Long (Barth); his children, Danny Long of McAlisterville, Loretta Moyer (John) of Mifflin, Joyce Rickenbaugh (Joel) of McAlisterville, Susan Basom (Steve) of Thompsontown and David Long (Cindy) of McAlisterville; and his brothers, Glenn J. Long of Austin, TX and Larry L. Long of McAlisterville. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren.
