With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Horning (McAlisterville, Pennsylvania), born in Lewistown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 2, 2020 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Kennedy and Clara Kennedy (Cree); her husband Glenn W. "Chubb" Horning; and her siblings, Ruth Schengost, Jacquelin "Jackie" Price, Clarence, Preston, Robert, Bill and Jay Kennedy.

She is survived by: her son Dennis L. Horning of McAlisterville; her sisters, Winnie Bohrman of Mifflintown and Dorthea Zeiders (Karl) of Mifflintown; her grandchildren, Toby Horning (Shelly) and Denise Brubaker (Deron); and her great grandchildren, Kasi Horning (Nick Palopoli), Carson Horning, Amara Brubaker and Cole Brubaker.
