Robert M. Vredenburg Obituary

We bid farewell to Robert M. Vredenburg of Matamoras, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 3, 2025 at the age of 82. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Vredenburg and Elizabeth Vredenburg (Zint); and his brothers, William and Albert Vredenburg. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Vredenburg (Conyea); his children, Robert W. Vredenburg (Tina), Michelle Papula (Bill) of Matamoris, PA and Mary Lou Vredenburg of Newington, CT; his brothers, Jerry Vredenburg (Debbie) of Constantica, NY and Roger Vredenburg (Cindy) of Virginia Beach, VA; and his grandchildren, Bobby, Gabrielle, Jake Vredenburg, Zane and Aidan Papula. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the White, Venuto & Morrill Funeral and Cremation Service (188 N Plank Rd, Newburgh, NY 12550). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (55 Grand St, Newburgh, NY 12550).
