It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon Shauger of Matamoras, Pennsylvania, born in Franklin, New Jersey, who passed away on December 31, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Amor Shauger and Cathrine Sanders Shauger; and his wife Pamela Margetson Shauger. He is survived by: his daughter Laurel Elston (Doug); his stepchildren, Andy Shepard (Carri) and Amy Shepard; his grandchildren, Richie, Robbie, Stephen, Samantha, Tyler, Nicole, Rebecca, Alysa and Catlin; his great grandchildren, Weston, Mason, Colton, Cooper and Sophia; and his sister Lois Mendez.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any local humane society.
