She was predeceased by: her parents, George Zitone and Mary Abboud Zitone; her siblings, Joseph Zitone and Lorraine Bergstrom; and her sister-in-law Joyce Zitone.
She is survived by: her sons, William Gassmann of Exton, PA and Robert Gassmann (Karen Faller) of Mohawk, NY; her granddaughters, Karen Zimmerman (Glendon) of Downingtown, PA, Sarah Gassmann of New York City, Madeline Gassmann (David Aiello) of Frankfort, NY and Carly Gassmann of Syracuse, NY; her great grandchild Sophia Izabella Aiello; her siblings, Evelyn Dalrymple of Newton, Joyce Helms of Canastota, NY and Edward Zitone of Montague; and her sister-in-law Lois Zitone of Montague. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Port Jervis Volunteer Ambulance Corps and the American Cancer Society.
