He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Louis Ropke and Anna Lucy VanZandt Ropke; his son Mark Ropke; and his grandson Justin Ropke. He is survived by: his wife Sue Ropke; his children, Suzanne McAllister (Joe) of Indialantic, FL, Fred Ropke of Port Jervis, NY and Erika Polanis (Matthew) of Port Orange, FL.; his daughter-in-law Lisa Ropke Jensen (Chris) of Rhinebeck, NY; his stepsons, Bill Oliver (Tina) of Gilbert, AZ and Jeffrey Oliver (Jennifer) of Brooklyn, NY; his grandchildren, Ryan, Devin, Alec, Tanner, Megan, Max, Ava and Brad (Alana); his great grandchildren, Kylee, Kash and Clark; and his stepgrandchildren, Josh, Carly, Noah and Grace.
