She was predeceased by: her parent Francis Gordon. She is survived by: her mother Christine Gordon (Nottelman); her husband Dana Mitchell; her daughter Alexa Hills (Trevor Hills); her granddaughter Isla Hills; her son Connor Mitchell; and her sister Patricia Lovelace.

“I was so saddened by the news of Chris's passing as was hundreds of others in our community who worked with her or were her patients. I had fun outings with Chris, Bethel Woods, El Patron and I was lucky enough to enjoy Chris and her family on her boat. I enjoyed her fun spirit at the hospital. In the last few years I was even more impressed with her, despite her illnesses, she was still kind, cheerful, and determined to experience life at its fullest. My deepest sympathy to her family.”
