He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Benner of Marysville; his daughters, Jami Kiner (Dustin) of Carlisle, PA, Candice Bogus (Robert) of Port Royal, PA, Sarah Bortz (Adam Kibe) of Marysville, PA, Meghan Blumenschein (Brent) of Landisburg, PA and Sydney Bortz (Shamel Gowins) of Winston-Salem, NC; his grandchildren, Kyla Palm, Emily and Beau Leake; his daughter Sadie Rice; and his brothers, Herbert D. Benner, Jr. of Shermansdale, PA and Terry Benner (Lisa) of Halifax, PA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
