He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Seiple Frye and Lloyd B. Phillips; and his siblings, Thelma Detwiler and Kenneth Phillips. He is survived by: his sister Elsie Yarnell of York; his wife Esther Anne; and his son Christopher. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
