She was predeceased by: her parents, Emory H. Frye and Alice A. Frye (Bechtel); and her siblings, Robert, Ernest, Edison, Ellis Frye, Golda, Sylvia Frye and Darlene Edwards.
She is survived by: her husband E. Rodney Burket; her son Stephen R. Burket (Pamela M.) of Ashburn, VA; and her grandchildren, Joshua S. Burket and Hannah Mae Burket. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Shirley may be given to Dominion Christian School, 11411A- Isaac Newton Square South, Reston, VA 20190.
