Though Rodger may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George D. Hoover and Edith Hoover (Steele); his son L. Colin Hoover; and his sister Helen W. Garner. He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Debra Hoover of Hollidaysburg; his grandsons, Justin Colin Hoover of Hollidaysburg, Andrew Bacon Hoover (Debby) of Billings, MT and Travis Steele Hoover (Kiley) of Martinsburg; and his sister Marilyn A. Feather of Martinsburg.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Matthew Lutheran Church (115 E Penn St, Martinsburg, PA 16662). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Rodger may be given to the D. Merl Tipton VFW Post 43, 115 S. Nicodemus St., Martinsburg, PA 16662.
