He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester M. Longenecker and S. Naomi Longenecker (Guyer); his son R. Matthew; his great grandchild Emery Grace Stiffler; his siblings, Martha McIntyre, Dorothy McCall, Harold A. and Marlin E. Longenecker; his brother-in-law Bill Stultz; his niece Corina Frye; and his nephew Jeff Grannas.
He is survived by: his wife Gaynelle Waite; his children, Mark Longenecker (Lori) and Amy Kennedy (Keith); his grandchildren, Jerod Stiffler (Lauren Chandler), Justin Stiffler (Angie), Janelle Stiffler (Joseph Bertres), Miles Longenecker (Izis Miranda), Mason Longenecker (Shawna) and Madison Longenecker (Carter Cerully); his great grandchildren, Payton, Malachi Stiffler, Avery, Reece Longenecker and Mazeme Bertres; and his siblings, Ruth Morgan, Mildred Keagy, LaDonna Biddle, Emily Grannas, W. Dale and Harry L. Longenecker.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in memory of Max may be given to John's Way Medical Equipment Ministry 137 Church Hill Ln.
