He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Loose and Elizabeth Loose (Hoffman); his former wife Patricia Louise Kessler; and his brother John William Loose. He is survived by: his wife Christine A. Carper; his son J. Richard Loose (Denise) of Martinsburg; his grandchildren, Matthew E. Loose (Tiffany) of Fredricktown, OH and Christy L. Imler of Fairfield, VA; his great grandchildren, Braden Loose, Connor Loose, Dawson Loose, Jordan Imler and Reagan Imler; his brother Robert A. Loose (Betty Lou) of New Holland; and his stepchildren, Randy Carper (Susan), Robyn Blumling (Bob) and Elaine Slagenweit (Eric). He is also survived by seven step-grandchildren.
