He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard S. Hoover and Cecelia L. "Silkie" Hoover (Imler); and his brother Wendell Brian Hoover. He is survived by: his son David A. Hoover (Francine) of Shippensburg; and his grandchildren, Brunie, Guichelle, Chloe and Elijah.
