It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R. Negley (Martinsburg, Pennsylvania), born in Bedford, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 12, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, C. W. Negley and Theda Osborne Negley (Gates); and his brother Fred A. Negley. He is survived by: his wife Linda J. Bristow; his children, J. Todd Negley of Altoona, Mark A. Negley (Chris) of Clappertown and Renee L. Bumberger (John) of Hollidaysburg; his grandchildren, Richard Negley (Tessa Cadle), Brittany Bauman (Tony), Brandon Negley (Alexis), Ashley Negley, Derek Negley (Hannah), Sarah Isenberg, Emily Bumberger and Jonathan Bumberger; his sister Ruth Snelbaker of Manchester; and his sister-in-law Lillie Negley of Clappertown. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
