He was predeceased by: his parents, D. Ray Benner and Wilma Benner (Guyer); and his sister Phyllis Jean Dauberman. He is survived by: his wife Carol A. Pietro; his son Bryan D. Benner (Marina) of Hunt Valley, MD; and his brother David R. Benner (Sue) of Knoxville, TN.. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
