He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy T. Pheasant and Ruth M. Pheasant (Frye); his wife Doris Ann "Skip" Frye; his grandson Cory Bryant Pheasant; and his brother Robert Wayne Pheasant.
He is survived by: his children, Donald "Buck" Pheasant (Karen Bryant) of Spotsylvania, VA, David Pheasant (Tammy) of Rawlings, MD, Rosalie Isenberg (Tim) of Madison, WV and Penny Pattison (Ned) of Warsaw, VA; and his great great grandchild Beau Bryant Pheasant. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
