She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmert Pepple and Dorothy Pepple (Over); her grandson Alex Barkman; and her brothers, Donald and Ronald Pepple.
She is survived by: her husband Arlan Barkman; her children, Michelyn Hatch (Richard J.) of Martinsburg, Dirk Barkman (Marcia) of Martinsburg and Lance Barkman (Tammy) of Roaring Spring; her sister Connie Emmert of Urbandale, Iowa; and her grandchildren, Dr. Kiel Barkman, Kella Boyer and Logan Barkman.
