He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh J. and Violet Casey, Sr. (Shafer); his wife Margaret Casey (Tornillo); his close friend Joan Basanese; his grandson Jason Melendez; and his brother Frank Casey.

He is survived by: his daughters, Lori (Patrick Healy) of Martins Creek, PA and Donna (Leonard Ciufo) of Bangor, PA.; his brother James Casey of New Jersey; and his grandchildren, Michael Melendez, Philip (Jessica Hernandez), Susan Ciufo-Bennett (Timothy Bennett) and Dominic Ciufo.
