She was predeceased by: her parents, George F. W. Steuernagel and Bertha Steuernagel (Hagmier); her husband Martin "Bud" Chew; her siblings, Ruth, Paul, George, Arthur, Bertha and Louise; her nephew Robert; and her pet Muffy.
She is survived by: her children, Ralph and Diane; her son-in-law Gilbert; her grandchildren, Emily (Tammy), Matt (Sandy), Kensy (Greg) and Brad (Stephanie); and her friend Denny Hall. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley, 730 Church St. New Kensington, PA 15068.
