She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Stanton and Alma Stanton; and her brother Robert Stanton. She is survived by: her husband Martin J. "Marty" Dorfner, Sr.; her children, Martin J. Dorfner, Jr. (Laura), Denise L. Schaville (Philip), Donald E. Dorfner (Lisa) and Brian R. Dorfner (Kristen); her grandchildren, Mitchell, Alec, Rachel, Mason Dorfner, Jessica, Philip, Steven Schaville, Hunter, Alexis Dorfner, Emerson and Boston Dorfner; and her sister Lois Shonborn. She is also survived by her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and extended family.
In Lieu of flowers, it is the wish of the family that memorials be made to St. Anne School, 4040 Willow Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15234 or to Parkinson Foundation of Western Pennsylvania, 575 Lincoln Avenue, Bellevue, PA 15202.
