He was predeceased by: his wife Louise Werkheiser (Prata); his parents, Clifford L. Werkheiser and Lizzie Werkheiser (Martin); and his stepmother Audrey Werkheiser (Martin). He is survived by: his close friend Marie Lohman; his sons, James B. Werkheiser (Susan) of East Stroudsburg, Jerome C. Werkheiser (Marie-Louise) of Stroudsburg, Martin P. Werkheiser (Marsha) of Harleysville and Thomas M. Werkheiser (Arnulfo Vargas) of Cape May, NJ; his granddaughter Louisa Werkheiser (Jeffrey Enright) of Stroudsburg; and his sister Joan Rinker (Norman "Jake") of Reeders. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the William H. Clark Funeral Home (1003 Main St, Stroudsburg, PA 18360). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
