He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Clay and Velma Shumaker Clay; his wife Carol Kincaid Clay; and his children, Kathleen Ann Clay and Michael J. Clay.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Michele Shellee Klingensmith Clay of Cranberry Twp; his grandchildren, Morgan Kathleen Clay and Marshall Kincaid Clay; and his sister Marsha Ream.
