He is survived by: his parent Isabella Brown Mitchell; his wife Evelyn Miller Mitchell; his sons, John Mitchell, Jr. (Missy) of Columbia, MD., Eric Mitchell (Sharon) of Gilbertsville, PA and Joshua Mitchell (Carrie) of Gibsonia; and his sisters, Mary Hughes (Bill) of Ellwood City, PA and Sandra Jenkins (Frank) of Shaler Twp.
