She was predeceased by: her parents, James A. Charles and Geraldine M. Collins Charles; her son Steven A. Dumencic, Jr.; and her sister Pamela Charles. She is survived by: her husband Daniel Dukes; her siblings, Jim Charles (Sharon), Becky Kincaid and Patricia Berk; her grandchildren, Brandi, Tristan and Aurora; her great grandchildren, Jayden and Sydney; and her nephews, Shane, Mark, Chuck, Ryan and Travis.

Memorials in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
