He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter L. Janis and Mary Anastasia Ewanco Janis; his wife Elizabeth I. "Betty" McCombs Janis; and his brother Theodore Janis. He is survived by: his children, Linda K. Janis of Zelienople, Theresa E Goudie (Robert) of Reston, VA and Michael S. Janis (Angela Lamb) of Alliance; his grandsons, Christopher Janis and Andrew Janis; and his great grandchild Amber Janis.
